SOLID WALL FUNDING

Insulating solid walls can save you up to £390 per year on energy bills – more than any other kind of wall insulation.

36% of UK properties have solid walls, according to the National Energy Foundation, which means there are potentially millions of homeowners who could save thousands in the short and long term, simply by getting some insulation. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding customer service to order to guarantee that all of our clients are 100% satisfied.

Our fully funded solid wall insulation, using certified systems, can improve the warmth of your property by dramatically reducing heat loss and energy bills. We understand that solid wall insulation can be difficult to fund if you are a low income family or vulnerable household, but our dedicated team can help eligible applicants.

ROOM IN ROOF INSULATION

Insulating your Room in Roof can save you up to £400 per year on energy bills

Normally a room in roof will have sloping ceilings, and dormer or sloping style windows at the upper floor.

A room in roof can have multiple different heat loss elements including sloped ceilings, stud walls, dormer and gable walls and a flat ceiling; and by insulating all of these elements properly a thermal barrier is created that prevents heat from being lost.
A room in roof with poor insulation will lose lots of heat, and in some cases about a quarter of the heat in a home can be lost through its roof.

Our fully funded Room in Roof insulation, using certified systems, can improve the warmth of your property by dramatically reducing heat loss and energy bills. We understand that Room in Roof insulation can be difficult to fund if you are a low income family or vulnerable household, but our dedicated team can help eligible applicants.

LOFT INSULATION

With so much heat being lost through your roof due to inadequate or missing insulation, the government’s FREE LOFT INSULATION scheme is intended to help people just like you to save on energy bills, reduce their impact on the environment and keep their homes in a cosy and liveable condition.

How does loft insulation help keep heating costs down?

Loft insulation reduces heat loss through your roof, increasing your home’s thermal efficiency. This means:

The heat you generate won’t just disappear the second you turn your radiators or heaters off

You could save anywhere from £120 to £280 a year on energy bills

You’ll reduce your household’s carbon footprint

You’ll benefit from a warmer home and a better standard of living

CAVITY WALL FUNDING

Any home built after the 1930s is likely to have cavity walls. Unlike solid walls, these feature two walls separated by a hollow gap (a cavity), designed to prevent outside moisture from penetrating the inner rooms. You can spot these by examining the brickwork – if the pattern is even and bricks are laid lengthways, it’s likely that they’re cavity walls. Unfortunately, the gap between these two layers means warm air can easily escape, leading to draughts, heat loss and higher energy bills as a result.Cavity wall insulation works to resolve this, filling the gap to lock the warm air in. According to the Energy Saving Trust, this small home insulation improvement could save the average mid-terrace house up to £140 a year on their energy bills. If you receive income related benefits, live in a property with a poor energy rating, or are struggling with the cost of living, you could be entitled to cavity wall insulation without spending a penny upfront.
